Director of F&B - Pillows Grand Hotel Reylof - 19/04/18

Your role As the Director of F&B you will team up with the general manager to represent the Pillows brand to your entire team and the guests. With your focus on F&B you will take full ownership for presenting an appealing and up-to-date product offering with accompanying service levels for multiple restaurants, all day dining, a wine bar, espresso bar and high end conference and group facilitation. Your leadership style, charisma and focus will drive the concept toward Michelin and Gault Millau 15+ quality and ultimately their recognition. You understand what luxury means and your most important KPI is guest satisfaction and with that indicator in mind you head up and facilitate the team for them to deliver the ultimate guest experience. By nature of your role you will be co-responsible for all aspects of the hotel’s business operations and the attainment of its objectives. You will also drive the F&B marketing with the help of our marketing team. Of course, you understand that all of this is intended to lead to healthy commercial growth. You will report to the general manager and will work in irregular shifts. When the general manager is absent, you will take over those responsibilities for the day-to-day operation of the hotel.

Compétences requises:		Who are you? Are you a hospitality professional with solid F&B experience in the luxury hospitality? Would you like to be the part of the management team of our new Pillows Hotel in Gent? Will you stimulate and facilitate your team to provide the best possible service and put our guests first in all we do? Check your profile: Proven and successful track record of managing high end luxury F&B concepts. Ambition and personal drive to ensure ultimate guest experiences. A relevant hospitality educational background. Charismatic people management style (leading by example). Experience in continuous improvement of F&B concepts and service delivery. Experience in kitchen management as the Executive Chef will report to the Director of F&B. An entrepreneurial spirit, a practical mindset and a resilient nature. A fantastic host who exceeds the hotel guests’ expectations with his/her team. You are able to draw up and present core and other management data (financial and otherwise). Professional communication skills in English, proficiency in the Dutch and French languages are an advantage. If you are applying from outside of Belgium, you need to be willing to meet the team in a face to face meeting in our hotel in Gent in the final stage of the recruitment process.
