Sales Executive - 15/02/19

Main purpose of job: We seek a colleague who is responsible for coordinating efforts for hunting for new business and developing his dedicated portfolio. He/She may generate new business, make presentations, build and maintain clients relationships. He/She is ambitious and passionate in everything he/she does. He/She is reporting to the Director of Sales. Responsibilities / Tasks: ◾The Sales Executive is responsible for local segment business development, for all Thon Hotels properties in Brussels. ◾Develops his own clients’ portfolio and hunting for new leads and business thru prospection. ◾Maintains accuracy and up to date account data and reporting using account management system (in Super Office). ◾Generates leads for through telemarketing, person-to-person meetings and networking with prospective and actual clients. ◾Prepares business presentation as needed and tailored to target companies. ◾Participates to fairs, clients events and presentations.

Compétences requises:   ◾A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hotel chain. Experience in the sales department is a plus. ◾Customer focused attitude with ideally proven face-to –face client selling experience. ◾Strong written and oral communication skills. English, French and Dutch speaking. ◾Solid organizational and telesales skills. ◾Ability to juggle numerous projects and maintain a strong work ethic. ◾Knowledge of word, excel, powerpoint, and other computer programs. ◾Must be able to work flexible hours, travel, conduct sales calls and have presentation skills, strong negotiating skills and creative selling techniques ◾Must have a valid driver’s license ◾Flexible schedule, working nights and weekends if travel plan requires this ◾Location: position based in Brussels but willingness to travel 1-2 times per month if travel plan requires it ◾Sales disposition – energetic, proactive, takes calculated risks and perseveres to attain goals In addition, you can identify you with our 3 basic values: 1) Passionately committed, 2) Professional hospitality and 3) The power to please.
