Junior Floor Supervisor - 04/07/19

Main purpose of job : We seek a colleague who likes to think independently, dare to ask questions and take his own initiative. You are engaged and personal in your meeting with guests and colleagues. Your primary task, will be to ensure that the public areas and other designated areas are cleaned and maintained to the standards as set by the Executive Head Housekeeper. Responsibilities / Tasks: • Report directly to the Executive Housekeeper • Check and ensure that public areas are clean and tidy • Check priority rooms such as VIP, show rooms, … • Manage the daily housekeeping operations (opening / closing shift) • Deliver a service to consistently meet and exceed guest expectations • Report any maintenance defects noticed whilst carrying out duties immediately. • Record and hand in any items of lost property found in any area guests or staff • Answer phone calls, mails, and ensure the follow up with the concerned department (front office, technical department, restaurant,…) to meet the guest expectations. • According activity take part of room’s cleaning • Depending activity ensure around 2 shifts/week as “public area guard”

Vereiste vaardigheden:		You are flexible and initiative-oriented and thrive in a hectic working environment. • Experience in the service industry is a must, preferably in the Housekeeping department. • good communication skills, French is a plus - English mandatory • Be flexible and comfortable at multitasking • Willing to work on shift (morning / evening ) • Computer skills (Outlook, Excel, - Hotel’s programs such as Opera will be a must) In addition, you can identify you with our 3 basic values: 1) Passionately committed, 2) Professional hospitality and 3) The power to please.
