Food & Beverage Coordinator - 03/07/19

Main purpose of job : A food and beverage coordinator works with the food and beverage manager in the various outlets: restaurant, bar, room service, banqueting, breakfast. The person is responsible for carrying out various duties to ensure that customers’ experience is outstanding by providing the best food, drinks and service. The coordinator is responsible for maintaining profits from food and drink sales, having excellent communication and customer service skills, maintaining a clean environment and making effective decisions when needed. As a coordinator, you will also support the staff administration such as hiring, planning, controlling the badging system, ensure a good teamwork,… Responsibilities / Tasks : ◾Assist the F&B manager with supervising the department and lead the team ◾Ensure the smooth running of the department operations ◾Communicate and train team members to deliver a high quality service to the guests while maintaining the operating budget ◾In charge of recruiting new team members and trainees: answer to all the CV, meet and select the right candidate ◾On board new team members ◾Implement checklists and procedures and make sure the whole team is aware. ◾In charge of the whisky club (mailing, tastings organisation, subscriptions) ◾Adapt, translate and communicate the new menus (bar, restaurant, conference) ◾Collaborate with the chef to make sure HACCP rules are followed (signed checklists) ◾In charge of the F&B social media (Facebook and Instagram) ◾Assist planning and preparation payroll of departmental staff This list is not exhaustive.

Vereiste vaardigheden:		You are flexible and initiative-oriented and thrive in a hectic working environment. ◾Previous Food and Beverage experience is a must ◾Leadership skills and ability to empower ◾Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and French and / or Dutch. Any other language is a plus. ◾Flexibility: flexible schedule from Mondays to Sundays ◾Opera, Micros, PMI, Protime knowledge is a plus.
